Check the ammunition packages and load them in the luggage compartment.
DENIED TRANSPORT
Kallax Flyg reserves the right to refuse a passenger and his/her baggage in any of the following cases or if Kallax Flyg reasonably believes that these cases are possible:
1. Transport of the passenger or his/her baggage may pose a danger to fellow passengers or the safety of the crew.
2. The passenger’s mental or physical condition, including the use of alcohol or drugs, is such that it poses a danger to him/herself, fellow passengers, crew or property.
CANCELLED FLIGHTS
Due to external factors.
ESRANGE – As we regularly fly in the airspace affected by Esrange Space Center activities, this may mean flight bans at short notice and we therefore reserve the right to cancel or postpone flights on these occasions.
WEATHER – Bring extra equipment and food in case your return trip is delayed due to weather. In case of bad weather, keep a tent up where you can keep yourself and your luggage dry until the helicopter lands. If your return flight is divided into several flights, bring the essentials and leave your luggage for last.
TECHNICAL PROBLEMS – As is often the case, this leads to delays, as another helicopter has to be deployed. Plan extra time when you are in the mountains, then we will avoid stress, and everyone will be happy.
MOVIES
USE AND TRANSPORTATION OF LITHIUM BATTERIES
Lithium batteries are dangerous on board the helicopter because they can spontaneously combust in the event of damage or malfunction, causing chain reactions. The fires are extremely difficult to extinguish with the fire-fighting agents permitted on board. It is therefore important that you as a passenger tell the pilot/ground staff if you feel that your electronic equipment is starting to get hot.
For more detailed information on the use and transport of lithium batteries, see the Swedish Transport Agency’s website. (Swedish language)
