We offer photographers an unobstructed view by removing the door (on EC 120 and EC 130 models, the door can be opened and closed during flight in communication with the pilot). The photographer is secured with a standard seatbelt, a harness, and an additional tether for maximum safety. Other rules and conditions are communicated prior to the assignment.
For larger documentaries and film projects, it’s common to use external camera systems mounted beneath the helicopter and operated from inside the cabin. We have extensive experience working with and installing the most common approved systems, such as Cineflex, Red Aerial, Space, and others. If you have questions about a specific project, feel free to contact us.
In addition to traditional assignments where we transport the photographer, we have experience collaborating with drone pilots. This kind of teamwork requires clear communication and defined protocols to ensure safety. The combination of helicopter and drone can create exceptionally exciting footage.
Over the years, as previously mentioned, we have worked with major film, documentary, and commercial productions, as well as many small and medium-sized production companies within our operational area.
Notable projects include documentaries for National Geographic and the BBC, as well as feature films and series such as Hotet, Solstrom, and Midnattssol. We have also contributed to live productions at large events, including rally races and more.
